Refurbishment of a tired 1950s residential building.

Flats were improved in size and quality with measures such as converting fairly useless loggias into living space, the addition of 8 balconies, modernisation of bathrooms, garden access for the lower ground floor flats and renovation of facades and communal areas.

The cheeky colour scheme for the main staircase was a simple way of livening up a drab space and turning a circulation area into something of an experience. Since the refurbishment was aimed at younger clientele, this seems to have been appreciated.
